Kinnettles Castle boasts a very interesting and extensive history. The first mention of the estate can be found at the beginning of the 15th century when the Strachan family held the property until 1511. Located in the historic town of Forfar, in the county of Angus; Kinnettles Castle sits atop a hillside in 44 acres, overlooking a beautiful valley in a truly idyllic setting. The castle has a contemporary feel, whilst maintaining a classical look. Awake in the comfort of our chic modern interiors, enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking the parkland and catch a glimpse of our resident deer. Consider engaging in a clay pigeon shoot on our estate before taking a break over afternoon tea or whisky tasting in our exclusive cellars. An evening here is a cool, sophisticated affair; from drinks in the club style bar to challenging your guests in the games Kinnettles Castle you are free to party until dawn.
