• If you're thinking about learning to drive

  It took me 22 years to get the confidence to learn to drive, I'd heard so many horror stories about bad instructors, I know many people who have giving up after 10/15 lessons, I had heard of Ron's great reputation as an instructor and decided to go for it. I can now understand people that give up, if it wasn't for Ron's patience,calmness and kind manner, even his rubbish jokes I would have given up too, basically due to lack of confidence on my part, but with Ron's skill in awareness of his pupils learning journey, my confidence and skills are going from strength to strength. Recently I was a passenger in a serious road accident, which was enough to put anyone of driving, never mind someone who is learning, with a big knock to my confidence, I knew Ron would be the one to sort that out - and he did - I'm back on track now. , don't think too long contact Ron - go for it.......   Ron is a very friendly, funny, patient and experienced instructor. After having lessons with various instructors over the years, a friend recommended Ron. He helped me to feel at ease and had confidence in me when I really needed it. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is learning to drive. Thanks again Ron for helping me to pass my test. • Highly recommended

  I learnt to drive with Ron during 2007. I had some lessons with someone else a few years before but failed my test and then felt underconfident to return to driving. From the word go Ron made me feel completely at ease, confident, calm and in control. Ron never rushed me but encouraged me to move forward and sit my test when I was ready. He explains things really clearly, is an excellent instructor and is a genuinely nice bloke whose sense of humour makes the lessons wizz by. I would highly recommend Ron to any learner driver. I passed my test with flying colours and it was all thanks to him. Ivan Stott
