Brief business description

An Antipodean outpost in the heart of the peaceful Angus countryside, Kookaburras' menu is a witty fusion of modern Scottish and international cooking. Dishes such as haggis and kangaroo wellington play to the owner's Australian roots, with a wide selection of beers and forty wines from down under served in the restaurant bar. Children will love to feed the rheas or watch the wallabies and emus out in the paddock. The gift shop sells prints, crafts and carvings, plus emu eggs when in season.

  • 10 Out Of The Way Place but great

    Visited friend in Broughtyferry and they took us here, I wondered where we were going to land up then suddenly here we were. A great meal at this Australian theme restaurant. A friendly place and it was busy and good food. Well worth finding seeing the summer weather is coming.
